What is free, what is paid, data sources and limitations

An auction result describes a specific published result. It does not confirm technical condition, performance of the obligation or asset value. Capacity obligation values from the latest main auction in the dataset are free to view. Values from earlier auctions require full access.

The list covers 20 information documents issued by the President of URE on final capacity market auction results. The “Auction” filters select one document; “All” shows them together.
The list shows the main auction for delivery year 2030 together with all other auctions in the dataset, totalling 2684 entries; a code can appear in several auctions and therefore occupy several rows. The “Auction” filters narrow the list to one document. Capacity obligation values are included in the latest main auction dataset, for delivery year 2030. Click a unit code to open its card, which covers all 20 auction documents in the dataset, containing 961 unit codes.
“Capacity” gives the unit’s capacity obligation in megawatts, the same value shown beside its code in the URE President’s information document. “Contract” gives the capacity contract duration from the same document: “17 years” is the contract term, not the number of years covered by the auction itself. An additional auction contracts a quarter rather than a number of years, so its rows show the period here.
Capacity obligation values are shown free of charge for the latest main auction. Values from earlier auctions are collected for users with full access. The capacity range filter therefore works only when the latest main auction is selected; both fields are disabled for other auctions.
Licence type and voivodeship come from the provider’s entries in the President of URE’s registers, not from the composition of the capacity market unit, which is not public.
The capacity market unit’s code, provider and capacity obligation are public. Its composition, meaning the physical installations it comprises, is not publicly disclosed under Article 55(6) of the Polish Capacity Market Act of 8 December 2017.
The list does not cover secondary trading in capacity obligations or auctions outside the documents listed above. It therefore does not show changes of obligation holder after an auction.
Provider data is matched to URE licences and MIOZE entries solely by NIP. Identifiers other than ten-digit Polish numbers have no equivalent in these registers, so no match is expected; it does not mean the entity lacks authorisation. An empty result means only that the downloaded dataset has no matching row.
In addition to auction results, we use the President of URE’s open data from the licence register and MIOZE register.
